Hangar A San Jose Airport - San Jose, CA

This project was the construction of a new private airport hangar on an existing paved apron including work in the airport right-of-way. The project consisted of removing up to 14” of existing asphalt, grading and off-haul of over 10,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil, lime treatment of the entire site, and installing new base rock and asphalt paving. We worked closely with our client and leveraged our relationships with local landfills to save a significant amount on the disposal of contaminated soil. We also helped our client to value engineer significant savings on the chemical treatment scope and shaved precious days off the airport right-of-way schedule.
